Here is a 25 year old Harris FM 25K Transmitter that is getting some extensive field repairs. |

The work on this transmitter is being aided by Jim Offerdahl. The reworked PA cavity and tube socket look like the day the transmitter came out of the factory. |

This photo shows the PA grid input circuit under the tube socket. The original 50-ohm cable has been replaced by a larger diameter cable to prevent arc-through, which is what happened to the original cable. |
