        This is one of three vertical tail fins from a Mohawk that crashed during Operation Desert Storm in Kuwait.  According to reports, the Mohawk it was a part of was returning from a mission after the oil fields were set afire.  The smoke was thick and the plane was running out of fuel.  The pilot and observer ejected from the Mohawk when it was apparent that there was no way to safely land the plane.  The tail fin is signed by numerous crew members and support people from the unit. 

        I am a proud member of the OV-1 Mohawk Association.
