Here is
a box with four relays. It was built for a station which needed
two sets of relay closure contacts from the output of a satellite receiver,
which had just one set of closures. Specifically, the Hubbard
Broadcasting Garage Logic show, with host
Joe Soucheray,
is using the Minnesota News Network satellite system to
distribute programming and net cues on the same channel as
the Minnesota Twins. Automation systems need to see the right
relay closures for each program. This box makes it possible for
the station automation system to respond correctly. The box is 3-1/4" x 2-1/8" x 1-1/2". Easy to use screw-down terminal strips are used. The wall-mounted power supply converts 120 VAC to 12 VDC to run the relays. |

An
underside view of the circuit board and the point-to-point wiring
required to make it all happen.
The box sells for $220.00 plus shipping and tax. Variations of this design can be created as well. |
