Dan Zimmermann, Owner of Diverse Communications, has been a friend of M. W. Persons for many years. Dan has been a radio broadcast engineer for a number of radio broadcast stations since the late 1970's. He is shown here next to a Collins/Continental 315R-1 5 KW Power Rock AM Transmitter at KLBB Radio in Stillwater, MN. An older, and aging,
Gates BC-1G 1 KW AM transmitter is to the
right. I remember
installing one brand new from the factory in 1964.

Dan again next to the KLBB antenna coupling network. We worked with Dan in August of 2007 measuring AM antenna resistance and resetting an AM antenna coupling network to get better audio performance. |
