Downtown studios of KBUN/KBHP Radio in Bemidji, MN.   This radio station has been the premier broadcast facility in the Bemidji area for over 50 years.  Even the famous Steve Canon, long time announcer/personality on WCCO Radio in Minneapolis, worked here at one time.

Broadcasting is an ever changing medium.  To stay that way, they started a studio and transmitter site rebuilding program in the summer of 1998.  They hired us as technical consultants to oversee the project.  In the process, we built a new station for them.  It is a 100 KW FM on 95.5.  The call letters are KKZY and it signed on in the summer of 1999. 

Here is the same scene near sunset on October 2, 2007.  There is an awe-inspiring rainbow coming down to the studios from the sky above.  The only alterations to the original photo were adjustments to brightness and contrast. 

Bemidji, MN, claims to be the home of the famous wood cutter Paul Bunyan and his faithful Babe, the Blue Ox.
