January 2009:
Your intrepid engineer Mark Persons visits with KROC Radio Engineer
Bill Dahlstrom at the Cumulus studios in downtown Rochester, MN.
Bill moved on to Minnesota Public Radio and was replaced by Dave Jones
in April, 2010. Mark and Bill first met at a Minnesota Broadcasters' convention seminar entitled, "Basic Engineering 101" in January 1998. It was a tutorial on how to wisely use manpower on station engineering problems while spending the least amount of money. Mark and Bill were two of four panelists that day. It was the start of a long and rewarding association. |
