Zercom Power Supplies

Note: In about 1997, the Zercom Broadcast line was converted from traditional 120 VAC power cords to wall-mounted power supplies to comply with UL standards.

These are the Zercom AC Adapter wall-mounted power supplies.  They replaced regular power cords on Zercom Broadcast equipment when UL approval was required in the 1990's.

They are model number A482400400U and they have a 5-pin round DIN connector.  The input is 120 VAC/60 Hz/29 Watts maximum.  The output is 24 VAC center tapped at 400 MA maximum.  Outside dimensions are 1-15/16" x 2-3/16" x 2-1/2" plus cables and connectors. 

The Zercom Max-Z and Max ZII units utilize 12 VAC (half of the output winding) while the Zercom Distribution Amplifier uses the entire output. 

They fail on occasion or are lost and we have replacements in stock.  The cost is $22.00 each plus shipping.  Many customers buy two so they have a spare on hand.  The cost of shipping one or two in the same box is the same.
