Achievementsof Mark and Paula Persons
Mark Persons has over 30 years of radio
broadcast engineering experience.
We were the first Circuit Research Labs dealer in 1977.
We are one of the original five Sine Systems dealers in 1990.
We installed more than 40 Motorola, BE, and Delta AM Stereo Systems.
Our company sold 102 EAS (Emergency Alert System) units, most with two and three
station relay panels, the first year EAS was required.
Built sixteen new
radio stations including five AM directional
phasor systems from the ground up since 1980.
Mark Persons designed nine radio broadcast products, which were manufactured by
Zercom Corporation of Merrifield, Minnesota.
Mark and Paula Persons have together written over
120 articles for radio broadcast
industry trade publications.
Mark Persons is a member of the Society of Broadcast
Engineers and has been a
Certified Professional Broadcast Engineer since 1983. In
2001, Mark became a Certified Broadcast Network Technologist.
We sold and or tuned more than two dozen AM unipole feed systems for AM broadcast towers.
This web site has been on the World Wide Web since February 1996. We
originally wrote it one piece of HTML code at a time. Recently, we have been aided
by Microsoft Front Page 2003. This software helps us write more quickly and
effectively.
"Ham Radio" is spoken here. Mark Persons holds an Amateur Extra
license. The call sign is WØMH. Mark was President of the
Brainerd Area Amateur
Radio Club from October 1997 to October 2000. Paula is also an Amateur Extra. Her call sign is
WØHA.
We are a Minnesota licensed Alarm and
Communications contractor. Licensing is done by the Minnesota Board of
Electricity. Technology Systems Contractor. License number
TS00382.
We are involved with Microsoft Corporation as a
beta tester for new software. So far, we have tested Windows
Millennium and Windows XP. Each project lasted 10 months or more.
