Engineer's Log of Mark W. Persons |
![]() |
October 2, 2009:
Jim
Zastrow, a Radio Broadcast Engineer from the Wausau area of
Wisconsin, came to visit. Jim is semi-retired, and still knows his
stuff. He also holds the Amateur Radio Call AB9BW.
Jim is seen here examining a 1960's vintage Collins 820E-1A AM transmitter at KLIZ-AM Radio in Brainerd. |
Quote of the Day: You can never have too many Radio Broadcast Engineers. |
The stories go on and on. Stop in
again sometime. I'll leave the soldering iron on for you.
