Engineer's Log of Mark W. Persons |
![]() |
October 31, 2009:
Just before Halloween eve, Stu Muck and his wife Jane visited in
Brainerd, MN. Stu started out years ago announcing on the radio,
but soon became an accomplished radio engineer. In addition, he
does live weather reports for many stations. Stu is seen here
wearing a "high voltage" T-shirt and announcing into a vintage RCA DX-77
Microphone in the entrance to the M. W. Persons office.
The couple have an early 1900's home, that was originally a farm house near Fond du Lac, WI. They are slowly upgrading it while trying to preserve the character of this piece of history. Lead on! |
Quote of the Day: You can never have too many Radio Broadcast Engineers. |
The stories go on and on. Stop in
again sometime. I'll leave the soldering iron on for you.
