May 21, 2009: Mark Persons attended a seminar on RF radiation exposure. The group of 16 met at Minnesota Public Radio in St. Paul, MN. They learned how to identify radio frequency radiation hazards and how to protect against them. About 100 engineers nationwide were a part of this live video hookup. |

May 22, 2009: Chapter 17 of the Society of Broadcast Engineers met for their annual picnic at the Shoreview transmitter site just north of Minneapolis and St, Paul. It has nine FM stations and some television on a 1500-foot tower. The weather was great and a fun time was had by all. |
