|
|
Wednesday, August 3, 2011: Mark was again interviewed on TWiT.TV (This Week in Technology). It is an Internet television channel for technology people. TWiT normally focuses on computer and similar gadgets. The session was actually on the TWiRT (This Week in Radio Tech) program, which is run by well-known radio engineer Kirk Harnack and is aired on TWIT.TV Wednesdays between 7 PM and 8 PM Central time. On this episode, the moderators were Kirk Harnack from Telos Systems, Chris Tobin from CBS Radio, and Chris Tarr who is a broadcast engineer in Wisconsin. Mark talked about dropping field work at radio stations, but continuing to work in the office and shop. That includes repairs of radio broadcast equipment and handling equipment orders including selling Econco rebuilt tubes. Mark also told how he does repairs and how his wife Paula works in the business. There were about 1000 viewers at the time. Recorded audio and video of the show are available at http://twit.tv/twirt93 |
