Thanksgiving at Gilbert Lodge

Paula is busy in the Chef's Galley at Gilbert Lodge making stuffing for the turkey.

The turkey comes out of the oven and Mark is carving it.  Smells great too.

Paula and Mark both had colds this Thanksgiving so they spent time at home rather than spreading the cold around.  The turkey and trimmings were terrific.

After lunch, Paula checked Gilbert Lake to see how the lake ice is.  Just barely an inch thick. Best not go too far from shore.

A fallen tree has frozen into the lake.  The ice is clear enough to see to the bottom of the lake.  

Snow is just starting to fall.
