The Gilbert Lodge Project

June 12, 2003

A truck from Crescent Electric arrived to unload 550 pounds of 3/0 direct burial copper wire for the electrical service.  It is sitting on a device which allows the wire reel to turn as wire is pulled from it.  Good friend, Jim Barry, is on the left watching.

The power entrance and power meter are under the overhang.  Power lines from the street, conduits from the communications tower, telephone, and cable TV are in the trench dug by the excavators.

The City Electrical Inspector approved the wiring and a crew came out to connect the service at the street.  The Lodge was energized at 11:14 AM.
