Technical Tips from Mark W. Persons

Radio Systems Power Supply Fuse Modification

If you use a Radio Systems audio console and the power supply is near the announcer, you may have problems with the power fuse being knocked-out unexpectedly.  The photo shows a typical example.  One option is to replace the original fuse holder with one that has a screw-in fuse that cannot be knocked-out or popped-out by accident.

This same update applies to all other electronic equipment that is near operators.

The stories go on and on.  Stop in again sometime.  I'll leave the soldering iron on for you.
